This short film was part of the “Down to The Wire” 24-hour film race in 2014. 31 teams competed to create an under 6-minute film from scratch in less than 24 hours. Our film had to include a “Short-haired Cat Rancher” as a character, a Wichita bridge, a 1970 Chevelle, the “Walk Like an Egyptian” dance move, and be in the genre of a Spy Film. I chose to shoot on black and white Super 8mm film, hand develop, process, and then telecine to video for editing.
